OUR SCHOOL

Holy Name School is located in the southeastern suburban area of San Antonio, just minutes from Brooks Air Force Base, Interstate 37, and Loop 410. Its convenient location makes it easily accessible from across the city, while its peaceful suburban setting provides the atmosphere of a quiet, neighborhood school.

Founded in the fall of 1961, Holy Name has been dedicated to providing quality education to the youth of San Antonio and the surrounding areas. Many of today’s students are the children of Holy Name graduates, a testament to the lasting impact of the school on the community.

For more than six decades, Holy Name has offered a strong Catholic education. Initially staffed by the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity, the school welcomed the Sisters of St. Francis in 1981. Over the years, Holy Name has grown, now offering a comprehensive Pre-Kindergarten, Extended Daycare, Elementary, and Middle School program. Today, the school is guided by the leadership of Father Martin Parayno and Principal Jennifer Sisk.
